Welcome to my creative corner! I'm Alex, and my artistic journey took flight with a profound love for the fine arts. The allure of a hand-drawn style captivated me, leading me into the intricate world of design.

In 2018, I made the decision to transition from retail management to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Kean University's Robert Busch School of Design. Throughout my academic experience, I had the privilege of collaborating with exceptional professors and mastering the Adobe Suite, specializing in Photoshop, XD/Figma, Illustrator, and InDesign. Proudly, I graduated with a consistent presence on the Dean's List and achieved a 3.96 GPA.

Beyond the classroom, my creative endeavors took diverse forms. I delved into commissioned digital and fine art pieces, explored the realms photography, and developed my unique style of digital image manipulation. Venturing into abandoned locations, I sought captivating backdrops to enhance my composition skills, collaborating with over 30 content creators nationwide. In May 2022, I proudly published my first book of photos and self-written poetry.

As my journey into photography continued to unfold, the iPhone became my initial tool for exploration. This accessible medium allowed me to learn and experiment, laying the foundation for my visual storytelling skills. However, my evolving passion has led me to embrace the challenge of mastering a standard camera, pushing the boundaries of my creativity and expanding my proficiency in the art of photography.

In the past year, I channeled my creative energy at The BayNet, an online newspaper, and advertising agency. There, I specialized in crafting digital graphics, assisted with podcast production, and played a crucial role in Reggie Rice's Fool of Illusions magic show as a stage crew member.

As my involvement in the local music scene endured, the music I played became more than just a performance. It served as a canvas for refining my writing skills, exploring social media branding and design, and delving into video/motion and promotional editing through After Effects.

Excitingly, my second photography book, "The Totems Of Seguro," is now available on Amazon. This storytelling experience acts as a personal notebook and photo diary, inviting people to immerse themselves in its visual narrative.

Join me on this creative exploration where passion meets proficiency, and let's uncover the boundless possibilities of design and storytelling together.
